How to Add WordPress Posts to Your Website
Steps of adding posts to the website are as follows.
Step 1:
Click on the posts, a new heading of add posts will open which is shown on the dashboard.
Step 2:
As shown on the screen, the posts editor page would be opened. It has two sections. First is the post title and the second is the post’s content. To add content to your posts, you can use WYSIWYG editor.
- Posts title:In this heading, you should add the title of the posts as post i.e. “My First Post”.
- Posts content: Add the actual content which you want to deliver in the posts content headings.
- Add Featured Image
- Select Category
Step 3:
After giving title and creating content of the posts, just click on the publish button to publish posts on the WordPress page.
The Publish section has different sections such as saves draft, Preview, move to trash, status, visibility and published.
Saves draft: It saves the posts when you don’t want to publish it, it gets into the saves draft option.
Preview: Before publishing the posts, you can carefully view it.
Move to trash: you can easily delete the posts when you do not want to publish it due to some reason.
Status: when you want to change the status of your posts, you can change it as published, pending and reviewer draft.
Visibility:when you want your posts to be public or private, or password protected, you can just go through this section.
Published: you can easily change the posts date and time which is published.

Edit WordPress Posts and Update Content
In this section, you will know how to edit posts on WordPress.
One should follow the following steps to edit posts.
Step 1:When you have published the posts in the add posts section, if you want to have some changes in the posts e.g title, slug date etc. Just click on the edit posts- All posts on Dashboard.
Step 2:when your saved posts are displayed on the Dashboard, there is a button hover on the posts named as edit the posts. There are two options of edit, simple edit or quick edit. Click on the edit button. Following screen will be shown.
You can edit the title or content of the posts, then click on the update button. Your posts would be edited and saved in updated form.
Delete posts
If an admin wants to delete the posts, following steps should be followed to delete the posts.
Step 1:click on the posts, a new heading of trash posts will open which is shown on the dashboard.
Step 2:when your saved posts are displayed on the Dashboard, there is a button hover on the posts named as trash the posts. Due to some reason, if you want to delete the posts, just click on trash the posts button. Your posts will be deleted at once.
Step 3:To confirm whether your published posts are deleted or not, just review the posts list. In this way you will get to know about the trash posts.
Preview Your WordPress Posts Before Publishing
Preview posts means view posts before it gets published. It is better to preview posts before publishing because it will confirm whether the posts content or title is correct or according to the requirements. By previewing your Dashboard or posts, you will see how your blog posts look and whether changes or editing.
Step 1:click on the posts, a new heading of add posts will open which is shown on the dashboard.
Step 2:when your saved posts are displayed on the Dashboard, there is a button hover on the posts named as preview the posts.if you want to preview the posts, just click on preview the posts button. Your posts will be shown at once.
Step 3:Your posts will look like this as shown in the picture.
Publish posts
When you have checked the posts and it fulfills the requirements, then the post is ready to publish. Publish a post means it is ready to be available to the users. It can be viewed by every user after publishing.After giving title and creating content of the posts, just click on the publish button to publish post.
After publishing the post, it will be displayed or available to the user.
